Accessibility statement

The standard this site was built to

The site follows Israeli Standard IS 5568, which adopts WCAG 2.0 level AA, and was also checked against WCAG 2.1 at the same level. Testing used an automated engine (axe-core) across every page in both languages, together with manual checks of keyboard navigation, heading order, visible focus, and computed contrast.

Implemented and tested

• Full keyboard navigation, including the mobile menu, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• A skip link to the main content at the start of every page.
• Semantic structure with a hierarchical heading order and labelled page regions.
• A label for every form field, with error messages tied to the field and announced to screen readers.
• A contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for all text and 3:1 for interface components, verified computationally across every page.
• Information conveyed by colour is always accompanied by a text label.
• The system preference for reduced motion is respected.
• Usable with no horizontal scrolling from a viewport width of 360 pixels upward.
• Full support for Hebrew RTL and English LTR, including preserving the language when navigating.

Known limitations

• Thermal images and diagrams are not mirrored in Hebrew — this is deliberate: mirroring a physical image would change its meaning.
• Testing was done by us and by automated tools. An external audit by a certified accessibility surveyor has not yet been carried out, so this is a description of what was tested rather than an external certification.
• Screen reader testing has been partial. If something does not read correctly, we would be grateful for a report and will fix it.
• In the image analysis tool, reading the temperature at a chosen point is done by hovering with a pointer and has no keyboard equivalent yet. The finding itself — the hotspot, the temperatures and the severity — is presented in full as text and does not depend on hovering.

HealthyGrid does not operate a branch or an office that receives the public; the service is delivered through this site, by email and by telephone. If a place of service for the public is opened, this statement will be updated to describe its accessibility arrangements.
